YORK COUNTY, Pa. — A multi-vehicle crash left parts of Route 30 shut down for multiple hours over the weekend.
Just after 6 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 30, a tractor-trailer and car crashed, causing one person to be trapped and a diesel oil leak.
The accident occurred on Arsenal Rd westbound and I-83 northbound. Ramps from I-83 north and south to Route 30 were also closed.
The incident was described as a "mass causality," meaning several people were being evaluated for their injuries, according to PennDOT spokesperson Fritzi Schreffler.
Eastbound lanes reopened at around 8:51 p.m., and all lanes and associated ramps were cleared to reopen at around 9:14 p.m.
