WEST YORK, Pa. — A York man has been charged with possession of child pornography, rape of a child, and related offenses after police claim he was found to be in possession of videos depicting him sexually assaulting a 10-year-old boy.

David Grant Myers, 31, was charged following an investigation by West York Police, who received a tip from detectives with the York County District Attorney's Office regarding his alleged activities last week.

Investigators were able to trace the user information from Myers' Snapchat profile to his address in York. After obtaining and executing a search warrant, police found six videos depicting Myers sexually assaulting the victim, according to the criminal complaint.

Myers allegedly admitted that he sexually assaulted the victim on multiple occasions, police said.

He is charged with 17 total felony counts, according to police.

Myers is being held in York County Prison after failing to post bail, which was set at $250,000 at his preliminary arraignment.

A preliminary hearing has been scheduled for June 26, according to court records.
