YORK COUNTY, Pa. — A York County man died of injuries sustained in a motorcycle crash Monday night, authorities said.
Donald Markle, 63, of North York, was driving his motorcycle on East Canal Road near Greenbriar Road in Conewago Township at about 7:56 p.m. when his motorcycle drifted off the right side of the roadway and struck a tree, witnesses told police.
Several bystanders attempted lifesaving measures until EMS arrived. Markle was then transported to WellSpan York Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
