Sip & Savor returns to downtown York on October 12

Participants will enjoy a walking tour of some of the city's coolest stores, bars, restaurants and galleries, with a small chef's plate and craft drink at each stop.

YORK, Pa. — Visitors to downtown York this fall will have a chance to sample great treats and refreshing drinks at some of the city's most interesting businesses as Sip & Savor returns.

The event, sponsored by Downtown Inc in a partnership with Harley Davidson Motor Co. -- York Vehicle Operations, will be held on Oct. 12, organizers said Monday in a press release.

Participants will enjoy a stroll through the city with stops at some of its "coolest businesses for craft beverages and small bites," the press release said. 

After checking in at 1:30 p.m. outside the Prince Street Café on Continental Square, visitors will begin their downtown tour at 2:05 p.m., organizers said. The tour will include stops at some of the city's coolest stores, bars, restaurants and galleries. At each stop, visitors will enjoy a small chef's plate and a craft beverage.

This year’s Sip & Savor will include stops at:

  3. Creatives on King
  4. Colonial Complex
  5. Luxe & Mane Salon
  6. Alley’s
  7. The Yorktowne Hotel- Final stop & group celebration

Tours are led by volunteer tour guides Corey Wolfe, Kimmie Lay, Quan Nguyen, Robin Kohler, Tim Staub, Jason Phillips, Kiuana Henderson, Jason McGarry and Caroline Newberger. Attendees select one of the six pairs of tour guides when purchasing tickets.

Proceeds from ticket sales benefit Downtown Inc, the organization committed to driving, enhancing and encouraging investment in Downtown York through promotions, placemaking, public safety and economic development.
