FAWN GROVE, Pa. — The York County Coroner's Office has been dispatched to the scene of a motorcycle crash near Kennard-Dale High School in Fawn Grove, emergency dispatch said Wednesday afternoon.

The crash was reported at 3:02 p.m. on West Main Street and Kennard-Dale High School Road, according to county spokesperson Ted Czech.

The motorcyclist, 64-year-old Kevin Frazier, was pronounced dead at the scene at 5:18 p.m., according to the coroner.

The crash occurred when a vehicle stopped to turn into a driveway on West Main Street, causing two other cars behind it to brake quickly. The motorcycle, which was behind all three cars, did not brake. The York County Coroner's Office says the motorcycle hit the tailgate of the truck in front of it.

The motorcyclist was wearing a helmet. There will be no autopsy, but a routine toxicology was obtained, the coroner said.

The road was closed in the area, but has since reopened according to emergency dispatch. State police are investigating.
