Firefighters battle 'high risk' RV fire at York County Rutter's

YORK COUNTY, Pa. — York County first responders used approximately 2,800 gallons of water and 10 gallons of foam to extinguish a dangerous fire. 

According to the Strinestown Community Fire Company, multiple departments were dispatched to Rutter's on Susquehanna Trail for a high-risk structure fire on Sunday, Oct. 6. 

At the scene, first responders learned an active RV fire was next to the fuel pumps. 

Crews immediately began aggressively attacking the fire, using approximately 2,800 gallons of water and 10 gallons of foam to extinguish the flames.

The Rutter's was temporarily closed as crews fought the fire.
