YORK COUNTY, Pa. — The Harrisburg Senators baseball team, First National Bank and the Dillsburg Challenger League teamed up on Monday to renovate a local ball field.
This year, Carroll Township Field in York County received the upgrade! Those involved say this is a small task that makes a huge difference for the kids using the field.
"We want to do what we can in our communities and use our platform to do good. This is our wheelhouse, baseball fields [are] what we do," said Kevin Kulp with the Harrisburg Senators. "There's a lot of great little league programs out there."
This is the third year the Senators and First National Bank have teamed up for a field renovation, as part of their 'Homefield Makeover' effort.
