YORK, Pa. — A York County bridge will be closed for nearly two weeks.
According to the City of York, the Jackson Street bridge will be closed due to construction beginning Dec. 18 until possibly Dec. 31. The end date may be sooner or later depending on the weather.
The construction is needed to repair age-related deterioration.
A detour will be set up around the construction to help motorists navigate the closure. The detour will reportedly utilize Jessop Pl., Kings Mill Rd. and Grantley Rd.
