NEW PARK, Pa. — It’s peach season, and many farms here in Central Pennsylvania are harvesting tons of them.
But there are also places where you and your family can pick your own peaches.
In honor of National Peach Day, FOX43 visited Maple Lawn Farms in York County to get a taste of this peach-picking fun!
The typical growing season for these peaches and nectarines on the farm is July through September.
Hours you can pick peaches at Maple Lawn include:
- Monday - Saturday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Sunday from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
The pricing is $28 for ½ bushel or $24 each when you pick two or more.
