Miss Pennsylvania visits York County school students

Natalie Kling stopped by North Salem Elementary School in Dover Township.

YORK COUNTY, Pa. — The newly crowned Miss Pennsylvania visited with elementary school students in York County on Wednesday.

Natalie Kling stopped by North Salem Elementary School in Dover Township. She read the book "How to Tame My Anxiety Monster" with fifth graders and had students do a journaling activity.

Kling is a senior at Manheim Township High School. As an incoming Shippensburg student with focuses on early childhood and special education, Kling says the opportunity was more than beneficial.

"I have been learning so much more from these kids than they'll ever learn from me," Kling said. "Seeing them really understand a concept I'm preaching to them gives me a warm feeling inside."

Kling will compete for the title of Miss America on Memorial Day Weekend in 2025.
