State Police are investigating armed robbery at Red Lion Turkey Hill

A male suspect brandished a handgun at two cashiers and demanded money Wednesday night on the 300 block of West Broadway. He fled after taking $214 in cash.

RED LION, Pa. — State Police are investigating an armed robbery at a York County convenience store.

It occurred at 10:28 p.m. Wednesday at a Turkey Hill store on the 300 block of West Broadway in Red Lion, police said. A male suspect approached two cashiers in the store, brandishing a handgun, and demanded money, according to police.

Police said the suspect fled the scene after stealing $214 from both cash registers. He was last seen heading north toward 1st Avenue.

The suspect is described as a Black or Hispanic male, 5 feet, 10 inches tall, with a medium build. According to police, he appeared to be in his late teens or early 20s. He was wearing black pants, a gray sweatshirt, and a medical mask.

Authorities are asking anyone who lives in the area with exterior video surveillance systems to check the footage from Wednesday night for any sign of the suspect.
