RED LION, Pa. — One person was injured after a truck crashed through an apartment wall last night.
York County Regional Police officers say they were dispatched to a two-vehicle crash in the area of Lombard Road and Apple Valley Drive in York Township just after 10:15 p.m. on March 27.
Police say a pickup truck traveling eastbound lost control on the wet road and struck a sedan, causing the truck to leave the roadway and hit a nearby apartment building.
The impact injured an occupant of the apartment, who was taken to the hospital, and caused structural damage to the building, according to police.
There is no word on the patient's condition at this time.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing, police said.
