Water rescue completed at York Haven Power Company

Emergency crews were dispatched just after 4 p.m. for the reported water rescue.

YORK COUNTY, Pa. — Emergency crews responded to the scene of the York Haven Power Company for a reported water rescue.

According to Ted Czech, the York County Office of Emergency Management's Public Information Officer, the first call to emergency responders came in just after 4 p.m. 

According to a spokesperson with Eagle Creek Renewable Energy, York Haven Power Company was conducting an underwater dive operation when one of the dive team members became entangled. 

Emergency services were called and the diver was rescued, safe and healthy.
