Woman injured in hit-and-run crash in York County; police are investigating

YORK, Pa. — Police are investigating a hit-and-run crash that injured a woman early Sunday morning in West Manchester Township.

A woman operating an electric scooter was struck by an unknown vehicle on Carlisle Road, just in front of Delco Plaza, West Manchester Township Police said.

The crash occurred at 3:51 a.m., according to police.

The victim was conscious after the incident and was able to answer questions, police said. The scooter she was operating was not present at the scene, and was later found about a half-mile away on Route 30 near Kenneth Road, according to police.

The victim, whom police did not identify, was transported to a local hospital for treatment, police said.
