Teenage victim pronounced dead two days after York stabbing

According to the York City Police Department, a 17-year-old victim was transported to a nearby hospital with life-threatening stab wounds.

YORK, Pa. — A York City stabbing has taken the life of a 17-year-old.

The incident occurred along the 800 block of E. Philadelphia Street in York just after 1 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 30

According to the York City Police Department, a 17-year-old victim was transported from the scene to a nearby hospital with life-threatening stab wounds. On Wednesday, Nov. 1, the victim was pronounced dead at Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center at 7:29 p.m. 

His manner of death has been ruled a homicide due to a traumatic brain injury and stab wounds. It is unclear at this time if a suspect has been arrested.
