York County Coroner is looking for help finding deceased woman's next of kin

YORK, Pa. — The York County Coroner's Office is searching for a deceased woman's next-of-kin, and is looking for help from the public in identifying any relatives.

Lydia Rumph recently died at Wellspan York Hospital, according to York County Coroner Pamela Gay. Rumph, who is in her mid-70s and from the Red Lion area, had no next-of-kin on file. 

Gay said her office has attempted to find any relatives several times, but have received no recent response.

Anyone with information on Rumph's next of kind is asked to contact the York County Coroner's Office at (717) 840-7617 or the Wellspan York Hospital Patient Registration Office at (717) 851-2390.
