York County man accused of holding woman hostage, assaulting her for five days

The victim stated that on Thursday, Aug. 1, through Monday, Aug. 5, she was held captive in Anthonio Willis Hill's home.

YORK COUNTY, Pa. — A York County man has been accused of holding a woman hostage for multiple days and repeatedly assaulting her. 

Anthonio "Tony" Willis Hill, 51, has been charged with aggravated assault, strangulation, simple assault, unlawful restraint/serious bodily injury and false imprisonment. 

According to the affidavit of probable cause, officers responded to WellSpan York Hospital to speak with the victim. She reported that she had been held captive for numerous days by Hill in Hanover. 

Officers reportedly observed injuries to the victim's head, neck and face. 

The victim stated that on Thursday, Aug. 1, through Monday, Aug. 5, she was held captive in Hill's home and physically assaulted. 

The victim alleged that at least two or three times Hills strangled her to the point of unconsciousness. She was reportedly in fear for her life. 

Hill allegedly struck the victim several times with his fists and glass alcohol bottles, causing serious injuries to her chest, abdomen and face/head area. 

Additionally, the victim told police that Hill also threatened her with a knife. 

According to the affidavit of probable cause, the victim attempted to call 911 for help and leave Hill's house but he refused to let her leave. On one occasion, Hill allegedly kicked the victim in her ribs and down the stairs as she was trying to leave. 

Over the course of five days, Hill allegedly refused to provide the victim with a restroom, food and her medication. 

Hill is currently confined to York County Prison, where his bail has been denied.
