YORK COUNTY, Pa. — Officials in York County are investigating an incident that killed one man on Friday.
According to the York County Coroner's Office, just before 3 p.m., there was a report made that a male pedestrian had been struck by a vehicle in the area of 191 South Water Street in Spring Grove Borough and that he had died at the scene.
The victim, Eric Legore, 51, of Jackson Township, was reportedly struck at 2:20 p.m. by a pick-up truck while walking in the crosswalk.
The York County Regional Police Department is currently investigating the incident.
An autopsy has been scheduled for Oct. 14.
