YORK COUNTY, Pa. — A York County man has been arrested and is facing multiple charges including rape of a child.
According to the Northern York County Regional Police Department, on May 27 at 3:05 a.m., officers began investigating a report of a missing 12-year-old girl in Jackson Township. The child's parents reportedly discovered she was missing around 1:30 a.m. when they checked her room and saw she wasn't there.
After searching for several hours, the father of the missing child saw her exiting a burgundy 2015 Hyundai Sonata. The car was reportedly registered to Dylan McClintock, 20, from Philipsburg.
The 12-year-old victim reported that she had been chatting with an adult from the State College area who she met on a ChatIB app.
McClintock allegedly drove to York County and lured the victim into sneaking out of her home to meet him. He drove her to a parking lot in West Manchester Township where he raped her and then returned her to her home, according to police.
McClintock reportedly dropped the victim off away from her home when he saw police in the area.
The victim was taken to the hospital for a medical examination. Police performed a forensic analysis of her cell phone and identified McClintock.
On June 4, McClintock was arrested and taken into the Centre County Prison. He is currently waiting on extradition back to York County where his bail will be set.
McClintock has been charged with rape of a child, involuntary deviate sexual intercourse with a child, unlawful contact with minors, sexual abuse of children, indecent assault, indecent exposure and corruption of minors.
