Police investigate skimming device found in York County convenience store

The Northern York County Regional Police Department says that the device was installed onto a PNC Bank ATM inside of a Sheetz in Conewago Township on Dec. 6.

YORK COUNTY, Pa. — Police are investigating a skimming device that was found in an ATM at a York County convenience store. 

According to the Northern York County Regional Police Department, the suspects placed the device onto a PNC Bank ATM inside of a Sheetz on Susquehanna Trail in Conewago Township at approximately 9:50 a.m. on Dec. 6. A man performing maintenance on the machine noticed the device at around 11:15 a.m. on the same day.

Police do not know how many customers used the machine after the device was attached.
