YORK COUNTY, Pa. — Residents of York County can report damage online caused by recent storms.

The York County Website included a link to what it calls its Individual Damage Reporting Tool. This is a Google Form that residents have access to, and they can fill it out with specific details regarding the damage they would like to report. According to the website, the information in the submitted forms will go directly to York County emergency management officials.

The goal of this form is for the county to determine what damage to prioritize. It does not guarantee funding or assistance for every incident reported, but staff may contact residents who filled out the form for more information. Residents may also have to fill out required paperwork if the incident receives a Presidential disaster declaration.

The county also emphasizes that the form is not a means of requesting emergency services or applying for financial assistance. Anyone who needs immediate medical attention should still call 9-1-1.

Residents only have to submit their information once, and they can call the York County Office of Emergency Management for assistance in completing the form.
