York Fair announces retirement of CEO Bryan Blair, interim CEO appointed

Former CEO Bryan Blair's resignation was on Jan. 5, after he accepted a remote position that allowed him to move back home to Kentucky.

YORK COUNTY, Pa. — The York State Fair and York Expo Center announced on Thursday, Jan. 11 the resignation of CEO Bryan Blair. 

Blair's resignation was on Jan. 5, after he accepted a remote position that allowed him to move back home to Kentucky. 

The Fair Board has appointed an interim CEO Patrick Ball, who officially assumed the position on Jan. 8. 

In a statement, the York State Fair and Expo Center thanked Blair for his hard work over the past five and a half years. 

"He has made an immense contribution to the facility and his dedication has been central to the growth that has been achieved," the business said in a statement. 

Ball is a Life Member of the York State Fair and is the current CEO of CBY Professional Services. With over 15 years of strategic planning experience, he brings extensive knowledge to the team, according to a press release. 

The 2024 York State Fair will run from July 19 through July 28.
