YORK COUNTY, Pa. — A York man has been sentenced to 176 months in prison for drug offenses.

The United States Attorney's Office for the Middle District of Pennsylvania announced that Mark A. Woods, 32, from York, was sentenced to over 14 years in prison by United States District Judge Christopher C. Conner.

According to U.S. Attorney Gerard M. Karam, Woods was sentenced on Monday, Oct. 7 for trafficking crack cocaine, heroin, and fentanyl in York. Previously, Woods entered a guilty plea where he admitted that on July 30, 2019, the York City Police Department caught him with drugs he was going to traffic

When imposing his sentence, Judge Conner pointed to the fact that Woods had a gun on this occasion, that he had an extensive criminal history including drugs and guns and that his previous prison sentence failed to deter him.
