YORK, Pa. — The York Water Company on Wednesday announced it is issuing an emergency water main shutdown on Mount Zion Road in Springettsbury Township.
The shutdown will affect businesses and homes in the surrounding area, where customers will experience decreased water pressure or a complete loss of water service, the company said.
"Our crews are working to make repairs and restore water service as quickly as possible," the company said.
On Tuesday, a different area of Springettsbury Township experienced a water main break, along Whiteford Road and Williams Road. It took several hours for the York Water Company to restore water service to customers there.
