JONESTOWN, Pa. — A $1 million-winning Mega Millions ticket from last Friday's drawing was sold at a retailer in Lebanon County, the Pennsylvania Lottery announced Monday.
The ticket matched all five white balls drawn (1-12-14-18-66), but not the yellow Mega Ball 16, to win $1 million, less applicable withholding, the Lottery said.
BG’s Value Market, located at 19 Old Route 22 in Jonestown, will receive a $5,000 selling bonus for selling the winning ticket, according to the Lottery.
Winners are not known until prizes are claimed and tickets are validated. Pennsylvania Lottery Mega Millions® winners have one year from the drawing date to claim prizes. Winning tickets purchased at a Lottery retailer should immediately be signed on the back. Online winnings automatically appear in a player’s account after the claim has been processed. Players may visit palottery.com for more information.
More than 28,200 other PA Lottery Mega Millions tickets won prizes of various amounts in the drawing, including more than 6,200 tickets purchased with Megaplier®. Players should check every ticket, every time.
The Mega Millions jackpot rolled to an estimated annuity value of $148 million, or $67.8 million cash, for the next drawing Tuesday night.
