PENNSYLVANIA, USA — Dave Sunday (R) beat out Democrat Eugene DePasquale and four other candidates to serve as the next Attorney General of Pennsylvania, the AP projects.

Republican Dave Sunday will become the Commonwealth’s chief law enforcement officer. He will be responsible for prosecuting organized crime, ending public corruption and collecting money owed to the state.
Sunday is currently York County's District Attorney. He previously worked as a prosecutor in the office and an attorney. Sunday joined the navy after high school and received his undergraduate degree in finance from Penn State University in 2002 and a J.D. from Widener Law School in 2007.
Sunday is a part of the Elder Abuse Task Force and hosts scam prevention seminars throughout York County. He says he is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association, American Legion and the VFW. Sunday lives with his wife and son in Spring Garden Township, York County.
