PENNSYLVANIA, USA — Former President Donald Trump held a town hall event in Lancaster on Sunday, as both his and Vice President Kamala Harris' campaigns focus on Pennsylvania with the election looming.
Trump held the event, moderated by former ESPN SportsCenter anchor Sage Steele, at the Lancaster Convention Center.
Trump wished Harris a happy 60th birthday on the stage, before attacking her with the misleading claim that Harris herself allowed terrorists and murderers across the southern border.
"We have the highest level of terrorists that we've ever had," Trump said. "We've never had this many terrorists coming."
The former President took questions from his supporters at the event on issues such as the economy, the border, social security and housing.
A group of Democratic governors, including Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro, also campaigned across the state on Sunday, on behalf of Harris and her running mate Tim Walz.
The group, which also included Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer and Wisconsin Governor Tony Evers, made stops in Allegheny and Bucks counties before capping off the trip in State College.
"This is a fight for freedom, and Kamala Harris is the candidate who stands on the side of freedom here in this Commonwealth and across this country," Shapiro told supporters.
"This blue wall is going to hold because of all of you and your willingness to do this work."
Election Day is set for Tuesday, Nov. 5.
