Democrat Eugene DePasquale will be on the April 23 primary ballot in an effort to be elected as Attorney General of Pennsylvania.

DePasquale has previously served two terms as Pennsylvania Auditor from 2013 - 2021 and was a member of Pennsylvania's House of Representatives from 2007 - 2013.
"Whether it’s standing up for women’s reproductive freedoms, taking on police bureaucracy to reduce backlogs in untested rape kits, or holding polluters accountable for dirtying our air and water, Eugene has your back," his website says.
DePasquale was born and raised in Pittsburgh. He earned his B.A. in political science from the College of Wooster in 1993, his MPA from the University of Pittsburgh in 1997 and his J.D. from Widener University School of Law in 2002, according to Ballotpedia.
He worked as an attorney, Director of Economic Development for the City of York and Deputy Secretary for the Department of Environmental Protection before being elected to Congress.
