DAUPHIN COUNTY, Pa. — Nick DiFrancesco (R) is running for election to the Pennsylvania State Senate to represent District 15.
Currently, DiFrancesco has been serving as the treasurer of Dauphin County since Jan. 2024.
A native to Central PA, he graduated from Middletown Area High School in 1982 and received his B.S. in Public Service from Penn State University in 1986.
According to his LinkedIn page, DiFrancesco states he's "a passionate supporter of small towns, quaint neighborhoods and the small businesses that keep them vibrant!"
DiFrancesco will be running against Stambaugh for the Republican primary election on April 23.
District 15 is currently represented by John DiSanto (R). It contains part of Dauphin County, including the townships of Conewago, Derry, East Hanover, Londonderry, Lower Paxton, Lower Swatara, Middle Paxton, South Hanover Susquehanna, Swatara and West Hanover, and the boroughs of Dauphin, Highspire, Hummelstown, Middletown, Paxtang, Penbrook, Royalton and Steelton. The district additionally includes Pa.'s capital city, Harrisburg.
