PENNSYLVANIA, USA — Janelle Stelson has won the Democratic Primary for U.S. House District 10, the Associated Press has projected.
A former news anchor at WHTM and WGAL, Stelson emerged from a field of six candidates in the Democratic primary, and now will face incumbent Scott Perry (R) in the General Election.
As of December 31, 2023, Stelson trailed only opponent Mike O'Brien in campaign financing, with $186,352 and $140,288 cash on hand, respectively.
During a debate on March 6, 2024, Stelson was among the candidates who attacked Perry's record.
In the past, she has supported abortion access and raising the minimum wage to at least $15 an hour.
