HARRISBURG, Pa. — Vice President Kamala Harris rallied supporters in Harrisburg on Wednesday just six days before Election Day on November 5.
The Vice President spoke inside the Giant Expo at the Farm Show Complex in front of a raucous group of supporters.
Harris appealed to unity during the nearly 30-minute speech, following recent rhetoric from her opponent, former President Donald Trump.
“Unlike Donald Trump, I don't believe people who disagree with me are the enemy from within,” she said. “He wants to put them in jail. I'll give them a seat at the table.”
Harris laid out her economic agenda, saying she would help reduce costs for consumers.
"I will give a middle-class tax cut to 100 million Americans, enact the first-ever federal ban on price gouging on groceries, and fight to make sure that hard-working Americans can actually afford a place to live," Harris said.
The Trump campaign attacked Harris over President Joe Biden's recent comments, appearing to refer to Trump supporters as “garbage.”
Biden claims he was referring only to comedian Tony Hinchcliffe for his comment about Puerto Rico at Trump's New York City rally.
The campaign called Harris’ campaign, a “campaign of hate.”
Harris referred to Trump as "unstable" and attacked him for the repeal of Roe v Wade. She implored her supporters to turn people out to vote for her, even those they disagree with on issues.
"In these next six days, let us please be intentional about building a coalition, and let us remember we all have so much more in common than what separates us," Harris said.
