Vice President Harris to visit Scranton on Monday

Newswatch 16's Nikki Krize is in Scranton, where the vice president is scheduled to visit today.

LACKAWANNA COUNTY, Pa. — Election Day is more than 24 hours away, and Pennsylvania's 19 electoral college votes could swing the presidential election.

It's no wonder the candidates are focusing on our state.

Newswatch 16's Nikki Krize is in Scranton, where the vice president is scheduled to stop today.

The Harris campaign has given a few details about Monday's visit, but it should come earlier.

The vice president is scheduled to crisscross the commonwealth today, and the trip to Scranton is being called a canvass kick-off.

Vice President Harris is then scheduled to make remarks in Allentown before heading to Pittsburgh.

Harris is scheduled to end the day with Hollywood "A" listers at a campaign rally and concert in Philadelphia tonight.

The former president is pushing hard in the keystone state, too.

Just yesterday, Donald Trump gave a speech in Lancaster County.

Today, the Republican nominee will be in Reading at 2 p.m., and a rally at 6 p.m. will follow in Pittsburgh.

The Harris and Trump rallies in Pittsburgh will happen around the same time.

The vice president did not say where she'll visit on Monday in Lackawanna County.
