Gov. Walz will make multiple campaign stops in Central Pennsylvania today

Gov. Walz will make solo visits to York, Harrisburg and Reading today on behalf of the Harris-Walz campaign. He will also be joined by Senator John Fetterman.

YORK COUNTY, Pa. — Vice presidential candidate and Minnesota Governor Tim Walz will make multiple campaign stops here in Central Pennsylvania today.

One of those stops will be in York County at the UPMC Arena at the York Expo Center where he’ll deliver remarks at a Harris-Walz campaign rally.

The original plan was for Vice President Kamala Harris and Walz both to visit Pennsylvania today. However, Harris will instead tour storm damage in Georgia caused by Hurricane Helene.

According to the Harris-Walz campaign, Walz’s bus tour will make stops in Harrisburg, York and Reading today, where he will be joined by Senator John Fetterman (D-Pa.).

Walz is expected to arrive at Harrisburg International Airport in Middletown around 2 p.m. to greet supporters and local leaders. At 3 p.m., Walz is slated to travel to York to deliver remarks at the Harris-Walz campaign rally with Sen. Fetterman.

Gov. Walz is expected to join a political engagement in York as well.

The Minnesota governor will then join a political engagement with Latino leaders in Reading to end the bus tour.

Meanwhile, former President Donald Trump plans to return to Butler County, Pennsylvania on Saturday, which was the site of the first assassination attempt on his life.
