LUZERNE COUNTY, Pa. — The warm weather on Tuesday made for a busy day at a newly reopened nature area in Luzerne County.
Seven Tubs Recreation Area in Plains Township underwent a $1 million improvement last year.
Newswatch 16 found hikers walking the trails.
"Just enjoying the trails, debating on the water or not, but I don't know if I'm that brave, but for now, just enjoying the weather, checking out the trails, climbing some rocks, trying not to sprain an ankle," said Jimmy Watson, Wilkes-Barre.
Some of the improvements to Seven Tubs included expanding the parking lot and creating easier access to the tubs themselves.
