PA Crime Stoppers offers $10,000 reward for information that helps solve 20-year-old cold case

WHITE HAVEN, Pa. — Pennsylvania State Police are offering a $10,000 reward for information that would help solve a 20-year-old cold case out of Luzerne County.

Thomas "T.K." Kolasensky, of White Haven, was attacked in his Chemung Street home sometime between March 7 and March 11, 2004, according to State Police. The assailant used an object lying on Kolasensky's couch to strike him, causing him to sustain a serious head injury, police said.

Kolasensky was hospitalized and later released to a long-term care facility. He died of complications from the injury on February 11, 2005, at the Davis Nursing Home in Mountaintop, Luzerne County. His death was ruled a homicide.

Police say there was no sign of forced entry into Kolasensky's residence at the time of the attack, and items belonging to the victim were missing from the residence.
