PENNSYLVANIA, USA — Republican U.S. Senate Nominee Dave McCormick has been going after his opponent in a critical Pennsylvania election.
McCormick criticized Democratic Senator Bob Casey’s record on immigration in recent campaign ads.
“Joe Biden and Bob Casey give these illegals all kinds of benefits and you pay for it," McCormick said in the ad.

Casey has voted on more than 30 immigration bills since entering the Senate in 2007.
He voted in favor of the Border Act of 2024 this year, a measure that was shot down by Republicans, but would’ve included $350 million for “Refugee and Entrant Assistance,” funds that would’ve been distributed to “public, private or non-profit organizations, including States.”
In 2019, Casey voted in favor of the Emergency Supplemental Appropriations for Humanitarian Assistance and Security at the Southern Border Act.
The measure gave $30 million to an emergency food and shelter program
Those funds were given to “local recipient organizations serving communities that have experienced a significant influx of such aliens.”
So, we can Verify, Yes, Bob Casey did vote in favor of relief money for immigrants.
Now, that’s not to say that the money was given to migrants directly.
It’s worth noting, the 2019 act passed with tremendous bi-partisan support.
Just eight Senators, six Democrats and two Republicans voted no.
