MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — Penn State is the eighth ranked team in the country and they looked like a top ten squad during their season opening road victory against West Virginia. The game took over five hours to complete thanks to a two-hour plus lightning and rain delay at halftime.
The Nittany Lions scored with less than ten seconds left in the first half to pull in front 20-6 before the long break. They took the opening drive in the second half and stretched their advantage even further courtesy of a Nick Singleton touchdown run. That made the score 27-6 and basically put it out of reach.
Junior Quarterback Drew Allar connected with Harrison Wallace III for two passing touchdowns and added a third to Kaytron Allen. Central York grad Beau Pribula threw a TD pass to Tyler Warren for the game’s final score.
Penn State hosts Bowling Green for their home opener at Beaver Stadium this Saturday.
