STATE COLLEGE, Pa. — On Sunday, Penn State found out both its bowl destination and its opponent.
The 10th-ranked Nittany Lions will take on No. 11 Ole Miss in the Peach Bowl. The game will be played at noon on Saturday, Dec. 30 in Atlanta.

OPENING LINE: Penn State opens as a 2.5-point favorite. The initial over/under is 47.5 points.
ABOUT OLE MISS: Like Penn State, the Rebels finished the regular season with a 10-2 overall record. Ole Miss lost to SEC champ Alabama (24-10) and SEC runner-up Georgia (52-17) during the regular season. The Rebels' biggest wins were over No. 23 Tulane (37-20) on Sept. 9 and No. 13 LSU (55-49) on Sept. 30.
Ole Miss and LSU finished in a second-place tie behind Alabama in the SEC West standings.
The Rebels are coached by Lane Kiffin, a former offensive coordinator at Alabama under Nick Saban and a well-traveled head coach, whose career included stints at Tennessee, USC and Florida Atlantic and with the NFL's Oakland Raiders.
Widely considered to be one of the college ranks' best offensive minds, Kiffin oversees a Rebel attack that averages 34.8 points and 455 yards per game. Ole Miss has a dual-threat quarterback in Jaxson Dart, who has thrown for 2,985 yards and 20 touchdowns and rushed for 377 yards and seven scores, but the focal point of the offense is RB Quinshon Judkins, who has 1,052 yards and 15 touchdowns on the ground.
The trio of Tre Harris (47-851, 8 TDs), Dayton Wade (52-759, 4 TDs) and Jordan Watkins (53-741, 3 TDs) are the Rebels' top receivers.
