PHILADELPHIA — The Philadelphia Eagles are adding a veteran wide receiver to their roster.
Julio Jones has been signed to the team, according to an X post from the Eagles.
Jones, who became the all-time career receptions leader for the Atlanta Falcons in 2020, led an impressive career following his college days in Alabama. The seven-time Pro Bowler has been with the Falcons, Titans and Buccaneers.
Jones is noted for having a rare combination of size, speed and strength. On Nov. 11, 2018, he became the fastest player in NFL history to reach 10,000 career receiving yards.
He is reportedly signing a one-year deal with the Eagles, according to Eagles Nation. Jones will be reunited with his former Titans teammate AJ Brown.
Jones will now join AJ Brown and Devonta Smith in the Eagles receiver room.
