ESPN analyst Jordan Reid breaks down Penn State 2024 NFL draft prospects

The Nittany Lions are sending a record 10 players to the NFL's annual Scouting Combine and ESPN's Jordan Reid helps break down their game and fits in the draft.

PENNSYLVANIA, USA — This year's NFL Scouting Combine is a another big one for Penn State University.

The Nittany Lions are sending a record 10 players to Indianapolis to meet-and-greet with teams along with doing all the NFL testing.

ESPN's Draft Analyst Jordan Reid is excited about this year's crop of Nittany Lions.

"It feels like every year Penn State has some explosive athletes come to the combine," said Reid. "This year is no different. I'm excited to see a bunch of these guys."

Some of Reid's favorite Nittany Lions include linebacker Curtis Jacobs and center Hunter Nourzad, both of whom could be Day 2 or 3 picks.

"I'm excited to see Jacobs move around. I had an opportunity to see him in Frisco, Texas at the Shrine Bowl, and I thought he had a really productive week," said Reid.

"I love Hunter. I could talk about him all day. He's super smart, he's very strong and I just fell in love with him and I think he could eventually end up as a starter."

The top Penn State prospects according to projections are tackle Olu Fashanu and defensive end Chop Robinson. Both players are expected to have big weeks at the combine as well.

"Just to see how excited Chop is to test and show his skills was fun," Reid explained.

"For Olu, I still think very highly of him. We see sometimes people start to wonder with athletic tackles as run blockers, he's just so naturally gifted, and has a lot to work with."

Penn State will have a representative participating in drills at the combine every day this week except for Saturday.
