PHILADELPHIA — The Philadelphiea Eagles will try to pull themselves out of their late-season nosedive tonight when they visit Tampa Bay to take on the Buccaneers in the NFL Super Wildcard Playoffs.
The game will kick off at 8:15 p.m.
Tonight's winner will visit the Detroit Lions Sunday at 3 p.m. in the NFC's Divisional Round.
The Eagles (11-6) lost five of their last six regular-season games, a skid that cost them the NFC East title, a chance at the No. 2 seed in the NFC bracket, and home-field advantage in the wildcard. They enter tonight's game as the NFC's No. 5 seed.
The Buccaneers (9-8) captured the NFC South title in the final week of the regular season.
