PENNSYLVANIA, USA — Penn State fans will have some new memorabilia to look forward to this season.
The National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum is releasing a first of it's kind Nittany Lion-themed bobblehead that will allow fans to keep up with the team's ranking all year long.
"The bobbleheads have three blocks in them [that] fans can change from 1 to 25 to not ranked and receiving votes," said CEO and Founder Phil Sklar. "So all the scenarios are there we try to make the best bobbleheads that can be used for a really long time."
The passion of the Nittany Lions fan base is something that stood out to the bobblehead Hall of Fame when making this move. One that made it an easy choice to be in the first group of schools with a new bobblehead.
"We know the fan base," said Sklar. "We had some other Penn State bobbleheads we have offered in the past and the fans in Happy Valley really enjoy their bobbleheads and teams and support them really well."
The bobbleheads are expected to ship in December. The cost $40 each plus a flat-rate shipping charge of $8 per order according to the Hall of Fame.
