LANCASTER, Pa. — When it comes to dining at the 79th U.S. Women's Open Championships, golf fans will find no shortage of options on the menu.

Competition at the prestigious golf tournament began Thursday at Lancaster Country Club, and the number of fans who attend over the four-day event is expected to rival the record-setting crowd that streamed through the gates in 2015, the last time the Open was in Lancaster.

Hungry fans will find plenty of ways to whet their appetites once they're on the grounds. There are several concession areas located throughout the 18-hole course, all stocked with tantalizing treats.

The first concession tent is adjacent to the main entrance at LCC, where fans can grab breakfast sandwiches and a coffee to get their day going. "The Frenchy," a sausage patty and fried egg smothered in syrup and served between two pieces of French toast, sells for $9.50 and is available until 11 a.m.

Other food stands are located at the 10th green, near the 13th fairway, at the 15th fairway, and at the 3rd green. There are smaller stands with limited selections at the 11th tee and the 18th fairway.

There's also a food truck village at the 13th hole, where several Pennsylvania-based vendors will be featured, including Hammonds Pretzels, the Philly Cheesesteak Co., and PA Original Milkshakes.

What do these stands have to offer? A little bit of everything.

The largest stands on the course offer cheeseburgers ($10.50, plus $1 for lettuce, tomato and onion), pulled chicken sandwiches ($10.50), turkey burgers ($11), buffalo chicken wraps ($11), all-beef hotdogs ($7), and a Greek Mediterranean wrap for fans seeking a vegetarian option ($10.50).

There are also pretzels, potato chips, assorted sweets, brownies, soft drinks, iced tea, bottled water, coffee, orange juice, and Gatorade (prices run between $2.50 and $5).

Alcoholic beverage options include Miller Lite ($7) Coors Light ($7), Yuengling ($7.75) Springhouse IPA ($9), Stateside Vodka Seltzers ($10.50), and wines by the glass ($11.50).

For those looking for something a little faster, there's fresh-squeezed lemonade, soft pretzels, and ice cream available at smaller stands stationed throughout the course.
