LANCASTER, Pa. — So you're at the 79th U.S. Women's Open, and you're looking for a souvenir to remember your visit by.
You'll find plenty of options at the USGA's sprawling merchandise tent near the main gate at Lancaster Country Club -- but some items are pricier than others.
Still, there are plenty of mementos to choose from, even for the budget-conscious shopper.
FOX43 decided to see just how far a $100 bill will take you inside the merchandise tent.
Here's what we found:
1. If you're looking for apparel, $100 might not get you very far.
The fastest way to burn through a Benjamin is to shop in the merch tent's apparel section, where 100 bucks won't last you long.
A short-sleeved men's golf shirt with U.S. Women's Open branding will run anywhere from $72 to $89, depending on the style. A long-sleeved, lightweight men's pullover will cost $119 -- disqualifying such an item from this experiment.
Sweatshirts and sweaters are even pricier, checking in at anywhere from $52 to $75 or more, again depending on your style preferences.
Prices for women's apparel are comparable; sleeveless golf shirts are priced anywhere from $69 to $94, while golf skirts or skorts cost up to $120. Short-sleeved women's polos run $69 and up.
You get more bang for your buck in the t-shirt and sweatshirt section, where men's and women's shirts run anywhere from $32 to $38. Long-sleeved t-shirts are in the same price range, while a sweatshirt will run up to $52, depending on style.
If you're in the market for a hat or visor, options range anywhere from $25 to $38 and go from ballcaps to bucket hats.
2. Drink up with branded merch
A commemorative U.S. Women's Open pint glass will cost $12, which is the same price you'll pay for a shot glass. Wine glasses and highball glasses are a little pricier, checking in at $36 for a set of two.
A Yeti-style coffee mug costs $34, while a regular ceramic mug checks in at $10-$11. You can also grab a tumbler for anywhere from $19 to $54, depending on how fancy you get.
3. Smaller items are good budget-stretchers
The merchandise tent offers plenty of ways to remember your visit to the Open, from lapel pins ($4) and refrigerator magnets ($8-10) to coasters ($10) and teddy bears ($26). One of the more clever gifs is a replica Pennsylvania vanity license plate branded "USWO," which checks in at $54.
4. There's plenty of branded golf equipment to choose from
Branded putter covers are available for any style putter, and check in at $46 each. You can also grab a branded bag to carry tees and other small equipment for $34. Club head covers are a little more expensive at $50 apiece.
One of the more-popular selections during our visit were U.S. Open pin flags, which cost anywhere from $18 to $54.
5. No matter what you get, it's worth the trip
Even if you're looking for nothing more than a few minutes out of the sun in air-conditioned comfort, the merch tent is worth the trip. But during our visit, we were blown away by the friendly and helpful staff and the wide array of souvenirs to choose from.
