YORK, Pa. — The last week of the regular season in high school football is upon us, but there are still plenty of big games on the docket in Week 10.
While most of the division races have been settled in the Lancaster-Lebanon League and the Mid-Penn Conference, there are still a few left to be decided.
In the York-Adams Interscholastic Athletic Association, Division 1 leader Central York hosts current runner-up and arch-rival York High Friday at 7 p.m. in the FOX43 High School Football Frenzy Game of the Week.
A win by the Panthers ensures they maintain sole possession of the division crown. But if the Bearcats triumph, then they'll move into a first-place tie AND grab bragging rights by virtue of their head-to-head victory.
Over in the Mid-Penn, Steelton-Highspire and West Perry square off in a battle to decide the Capital Division title in Elliottsburg, Perry County. The winner wraps up a perfect regular season in addition to the division crown.
And then there's the District 3 playoffs to consider; several berths are still up for grabs heading into Week 10.
It all adds up to an intriguing night of action across Central Pennsylvania.
