HERSHEY, Pa. — The Hershey Bears have played a lot of hockey over the past two seasons with both of their recent Calder Cup runs lasting until late June. They've started the 2024-25 season with a heavy schedule as well, playing five games in the first eight days of the season.

On Saturday night, Hershey could only slip a pair of goals into the net, despite having high-quality offensive chances and a total of 35 shots on goal.

They went into overtime with the Wolves and gave up the game-winner to Chicago's Scott Morrow with a little less than two minutes in the extra session.

Alex Limoges and Pierrick Dube scored the Bears' goals, although the game was tied essentially the entire time.  After the Wolves scored in the second period, Limoges shoved home his goal a mere 16 seconds later.

Dube scored to give Hershey a 2-1 advantage, but the Bears gave up the tying goal 17 seconds after they took the lead.

Hershey was hosting the annual Pink the Rink Night at Giant Center to raise awareness for breast cancer.

The same two teams drop the puck in Chocolatetown on Sunday at 3 p.m.
