Bears face Wolf Pack in first matchup since playoff sweep

HARTFORD, Conn. — The Hershey Bears visit the Hartford Wolf Pack at the XL Center tonight at 7 p.m., looking to continue their impressive road success against a familiar rival. 

The Bears enter the game with a dominant 10-0-2-0 road record. It will be the first meeting between the teams since Hershey swept Hartford in the 2024 Atlantic Division Finals.

Hershey has set new franchise records for road point streaks this season, surpassing their previous best from 2006-07. The Bears are 55-17-5-7 (.726) on the road since Todd Nelson took over as head coach, and they'll aim to extend their remarkable road performance tonight.

Forward Ethen Frank leads the AHL in goal scoring with 18 goals and has four game-winning tallies. The Bears have posted a 10-2-1-0 record in games where Frank scores, highlighting his critical impact on the team's success.

Rivalry Renewed

Wednesday night marks the 89th regular-season meeting between Hershey and Hartford since 1997. The Bears own a lifetime 47-30-2-3-6 record against the Wolf Pack in the regular season and have gone 7-3-0-0 against Hartford in the past two seasons.
