HERSHEY, Pa. — The Hershey Bears are trading their iconic Chocolate and White jerseys for plaid and lederhosen with the club's latest specialty jersey.

As the Bears take the ice for Saturday, Feb. 24's 7 p.m. game against the Rochester Americans, they'll wear special FeBREWary jerseys that are fit for a celebration. The jerseys will then be auctioned off post-game to support beneficiaries including the Central Pa. Food Bank and Hershey Food Bank.

The Bears will also host a pregame food drive. Hershey Food Bank will collect canned and non-perishable food items on the plaza outside the front entrance of GIANT Center.

Fans are asked to bring items that are within their best-by or sell-by dates for those in need, with an emphasis on canned spinach, asparagus, and mushrooms, boxed or bagged potato, rice, pasta sides, heat-and-eat soups, cereal, creamy peanut butter and jelly, and canned fruit.

Additionally, personal items like toothpaste, deodorant, bar soap, toilet paper and tissues are also in need.

As part of the FeBREWary excitement, the Bears will welcome the Alpenrose Schuhplatter Dancers to GIANT Center for a special performance during the second intermission of the game.
