Jaguars throw game and lose to the Eagles, 28-23

The Jaguars got their first drive stripped after Austin Trammell fumbled the ball from a punt return and couldn't find their groove until the fourth quarter.

PHILADELPHIA — Jacksonville Jaguars Head Coach Doug Pederson returned to Philadelphia for week 9.

Lucky for the Eagles, the Jaguars headed into this game 2-6 with not a lot of confidence. In the first punt return for the Jaguars, Austin Trammell, who was back for the catch, fumbled the ball as soon as an Eagles defender flew at him. The Eagles recovered the ball.

From the turnover and in just two plays, Shaquon Barkley scored a touchdown for the Eagles. The pass coming from Jalen Hurts. The Eagles, lead 7-0 after the extra point is good.

The Jaguars, so far this season, have a tendency to fold after a huge turnover.

The Eagles lead after the first quarter, 7-0.

Less than 10 minutes in the half, the Eagles hit a 43-yard field goal. The Eagles are up on the Jaguars still, 10-0.

With less than two minutes left in the half, the Jaguars manage to turnover the ball after Trevor Lawrence tried to connect with running back, Travis Etienne.

The running back bobbled the ball up and Eagles Zack Baun recovered. The Eagles capitalized on Etienne's turnover with another Barkley touchdown. The Eagles go for the two-point attempt but couldn't get it done. The Eagles steady in the lead, 16-0.

The Jaguars received the ball to start the second half, but it was a quick drive. The Eagles forced the takeaway.

With ten minutes left in the third quarter, Eagles quarterback, Jalen Hurts with the keeper scores a touchdown. Their second failed two-point conversion still leaves them in the lead, 22-0.

Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence takes matters into his own hands when they're inside the five-yard line. Lawrence trucks the keeper in for the first touchdown of the game. The Jaguars went for the two-points where Lawrence hits wide receiver Brian Thomas Jr. The Jaguars still trail. 22-8.

In the Eagles following drive, Barkley fumbles the ball and Jaguars Travon Walker recovers the ball and takes it in for the touchdown. The Jaguars go for two and get it. Just like that, the big cats are in the game in less than three-minutes 22-16. Evan Engram was in the endzone for the Jaguars.

With less than eight minutes left in the game, Eagles' Jalen Hurts, on 3rd and 22, launches a bomb to Davonta Smith for the touchdown. They attempt the two-points and fail, again for the third time this game. The Eagles are still in the lead, 28-16.

The Jaguars in need of some life. Trevor Lawrence decided to be that heartbeat with his second rushing touchdown of the game. The Jaguars are right back in the game. The extra point is good. Philly still in the lead, 28-23 with less than four minutes left in the game. This far into the season, the Jaguars have four games by 1-4 points.

Right before the two-minute warning, the Jaguars forced the Eagles to attempt the 57-field goal and missed.

The Jaguars have a chance to win the game.

After the Jaguars offense move the chains, Trevor Lawrence threw an interception to close the game. The Eagles beat the Jaguars, 28-23.
