PHILADELPHIA — They may not have won a Super Bowl this past season, but the Philadelphia Eagles did win one title.
According to new research conducted by BoohooMAN.com, the Birds ranked No. 1 as the National Football League's most-fashionable franchise.
Fashion experts at the website analyzed the global search volume of various fashion-related terms for each team in the NFL, including ‘X fashion’ and ‘X outfits’, which were also examined for each player within the teams; the volume for every term was combined to determine the final ranking.
The Eagles' average monthly search volume of 82,524.17 puts them at the top of the NFL's fashion rankings, with wideout DeVonta Smith leading the way. The receiver was crowned the "Most Stylish NFL Player" by the men's fashion magazine GQ, earning special recognition for his taste in suits.
QB Jalen Hurts also has good taste in clothes, as do several other team members. Heck, Jason Kelce was even a finalist for People magazine's "Sexiest Man Alive" competition, and he's far from a fashion icon.
The Detroit Lions came in second in BoohooMan.com's rankings, while the Kansas City Chiefs, Dallas Cowboys and Cincinnati Bengals rounded out the top five.
The New Orleans Saints, Indianapolis Colts, Tennessee Titans, Las Vegas Raiders and the Washington Commanders rank in the Bottom Five of the NFL's best-dressed, the research found.
"The various skills of each team within the NFL are praised by fans, especially after the hard work demonstrated in the lead-up to the recent Super Bowl," BoohooMAN.com said. "However, many of these teams and their players display their versatility when it comes to fashion, so it's interesting to see which teams have made the final ranking.
"With players like DeVonta Smith being named GQ'S Most Stylish NFL Player and Joe Burrow constantly surprising us with adventurous looks, it's always exciting to see how they represent themselves off the field when they're not wearing their uniforms."
